Thank you for this post. I have successfully upgraded my Z906 setup with 8 ohm 40W central channel speaker from Tonsil using default cables.

The only real adjustment that I needed to make was setting my center channel to 100% boost on Z906 console. Now the loudness is equal across center and fronts and the dialogue quality is SO much better.

This worked for me… thank you for the edit. Hard to find solution because everything else in dated or the wrong version(s). Win10 Home, Edge…. No GPEdit, No old Regedit hacks works.

I couldn’t get the above to work but did manage to disable inprivate browsing under HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\MicrosoftEdge\Main dword AllowInPrivate value 0

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 home (64 bit). I added a registry entry as you suggested, restarted my pc but I can still open an inprivate browsing window. Any ideas why this isn’t working for me?! I had disabled inprivate mode on Internet Explorer by adding a very similar registry entry, just under a folder named Internet Explorer and wondered if the space made a difference, so I did also try calling the folder Microsoft Edge with a space between the two words. This didn’t work either…

Thanks for the post. It’s a shame that Microsoft doesn’t provide a way for an administrator to do this easily without having to dive down into the registry.

Its truly amazing, the variety of recipes and ingredients people suggest for the ‘ perfect curry’.
I am not suggesting there is anything wrong with the recipe above, though it does have a least two indredients that don.t gel that well together.
Each to their own as the saying goes.

I never thought about this but I do carry a large amount of valuable gadgets on me and when I checked my home insurance it wasn’t fully covered. It also worked out cheaper taking out a separate policy than it did to add the items to my home insurance.
