The Pelican Brief

'Modern Classic'
Two supreme court justices have been killed. One lone Law Student has stumbled upon the truth by accident. A reporter wants her story - every one else wants her dead. - This is a fast paced gripping suspense thriller of the highest order.

The chases are well executed and a fantastic paranoia sets in as it seems like every one is watching her. Wherever she turns for help she finds opposition it seems she can trust no-one as the conspiracy deepens and everyone is trying to kill her to silence her. Although a thriller there is no gore, very little blood and bad language! The story is excellent - well acted throughout and very believable. This is a must have in your collection.

Picture:

 Picture quality - was superbly sharp (above average) although a horizontal white dash manifested itself every now and then. This was only distracting if you were sitting close to the screen. Overall picture definition was excellent.

Sound:

 The sound was excellent (average) throughout the movie with no glitches or stutters.

Overall:

 This is an excellent movie in terms of plot and quality of product buy it today.

This title is distributed by Movie Magic (M) and was licenced by Warner Brothers Inc and comes in standard 2-cd jewell case packaging.

The running time was Approx 141 minutes. English Soundtrack and no subtitles.

Videocd shipments take about 5-10 days to arrive which isn't bad but customs inspections can cause delays. To my knowledge all of the stores we list sell original disks - I do not condone piracy as it amounts to theft. Please do not ask me about where to buy pirate videocds or where to buy pirate dvd- I do not know where to buy them and if I did I would report it to the authorities.
