The video cd movies come in English without subtitles (except for a few selected titles). The exchange rate is excellent so you get more for your money. Due to a large pirate video cd problem the official releases have to be sold at really low prices to compete. Most movies are released here long before they are officially released in the UK.

Videocd's play on most DVD players, on nearly all home computers with a cd rom drive, and on playstation 2 (soon hopefuly!) & playstation one with a decoder card. There is an adapter available for the playstation 1 that will play them but only buy video cd movies from the stores we approve and monitor. There are of course dedicated video cd players available and the old CDi machines play them! Buying videocds is a great way to own the latest movies before they are released in your country. Videocd Prices start at $4.99 which is almost silly and there are no region locking codes. My DVD player and home computer play buy video cd movies happily and the video cd picture quality is excellent.
