This Flintstones movie explains how Fred, Wilma,
Barney and Betty and Dino met. This is not a film to take seriously but it
really is a fun romp for all of the family.
This film is very faithful
to the original cartoon and it captures each of the characters very well. There
is the addition of a cute little Alien which creates some great slapstick
moments.

If you have children then buy this film
for them but if you don't go and buy it for yourself anyway. This was
definitely better than the first Flinstones movie. The bridge scene was very
cleverly executed with a huge Dinosaur making the bridge as required. Things
really start to hot up at Rock Vegas when Fred seems to be on a winning streak

Picture Quality was
excellent the encoding provided a very sharp and clear picture. |
Sound: |
The sound clarity was
excellent and crisp throughout the film. The sound effects mostly came from the
cartoon and captured the essence of the cartoon. |
Overall: |
This gets my vote - I was
not disappointed by this title in any way. |
Notes: The film comes on 2 disks - running time was one hour
and 27 minutes. There were no extra features which although sad is fairly usual
for the video cd format. The sound is in HI-FI Stereo and the distributer is
HVN. |
