Cyberlink Power DVD and most other software DVD players are able to play video cd movies - so you may well already have a video cd player installed especially if you have Microsoft Media player which is downloaded automatically when windows is installed.

If you have a slow system then do NOT upgrade to the later versions of media player - the picture quality is worse because of the extra strain on the processor when it uses the extra features (Bass/Treble and SRS effects especially).

TIP: Keep the screen resolution to 800x600 in High Colour for the best effect unless you have a fast system.
