Just spotted a new website launched for a town just up the road from me.

It is called about Dover Kent and will be a tourist information site when it is finished much like the one called about deal which is run by the same people.

Dover is quite an important town on the South Kent coast. The port of Dover is one of the busiest ports in the world.

As a local it affords a great opportunity to pop over the channel to stock up on Beer and fine wines (and coffee!)

You can actually see France on a clear day from the top of the White Cliffs of Dover which is quite impressive really.

Dover town has seen a lot of changes and improvements over the years and the Whitfield business park hosts quite a few large stores.

It looks like there is a website appearing for every town in the UK somewhere. I find these independantly run sites quite informative and useful, a lot more so than the official or sponsored sites.
