Evolution

I was expecting a cute alien type creature and an E.T. style movie - what I got was quite different. A meteor crashes to earth (even this was much funnier than it sounds!) then a life form starts to grow and grow. Cells divide and divide and form new forms of life - none of it being cute and lovable. Each wave of life becomes more and more of a problem eventually ecaping into the wild. There is a blatent product placement in this but woven cleverly - almost - into the plot of the movie.

This movie rips off so many other 'alien invasion save the earth' movies but is able to create its own story and sucessfully stand on its own merit. This movie is very very funny with some great plot surprises.This film is brilliant - don't miss it!
