007 Collection - Thunderball - This is the bond film which is set mainly underwater - the big battles take place at the bottom of the ocean and shark feature quite heavily. Althought the soundtrack is dated it seems to create a brilliant atmosphere although does start to grate a little in the big undersea battle scene - I guess you don't get explosions and sound effects that far down in the bottom of the ocean. For a bond film the plot is actually beliveable with Spectre holding the world to ransom for a nuclear weapon - I guess if the ransom was not paid the weapon would be returned in pieces!!! |
